JURY WILL HAVE CASE TODAY.Trial of Jim Nit© fqr Murder Nearing Its End.Henderson, Tex., August 4.-—(Speo.taU— The trial of Jim Nile, who Is charged with murder, which grew out of the looting of tho Longview bank by the Dalton gang of highwaymen, Is nearing Its end. Over 200 witnesses have already been examined. Arguments were begun today, and the cane will be given to’the Jury tomorrow. Ten lawyers are 1n tho case, and the state Is making a Bpeclal effort In the prosecution. The Btato Is attempting to prove that Nile Is Jim Jones, the only eurvlvor of the Dalton gang. The boldness of this robbery, and the killing of several prominent •ItJzena of Longview by the robbers, ban caused a general In-tc.est to be manifested In Ihls trial.A sensation was created In coi«lt;t today when attorneys for the defense attempted to ehow that a bribe had been offered to a witness to testify for the state. This charge will be Investigated further tomorrow.
