Last Mon,Jay, Sarah Prewett entered Ice’s drv goods store and told the clerk she had just drawn $00(1, her share of anestate, and $300 she wanted to invest in clothes, and asked to he enlightened on the qualities of different goods. The clerk considered this a bonanza and with all due courtesy proceeded to inform her as best she could how $800 could be invested to an advantage. Satins were tied up, laces cut off, and buttons counted out, until a bill amountiug to $211 had been purchased. The yotiug lady then passed out with the understanding that the next morning she would call, pay the bill, and take the goods away. But the bill has not been paid, the goods are still laying on the counter, and Sarah cannot be found. A warrant has been issued for her arrest.fnt t. • _ I ♦
