Olive Correspondent.lisChBy Mrs. Edgar JohnsonThe sudden death of Adolph Anderson, Saturday morning caused great sorrow in our vieinkv.Adolph was born on a farm in Pia- i c mond township, July 2l\ 1887, the son i v of An*, and Mrs. A. G. Anderson and ! was a member of a family of nine c children. The father, two brothers j 0 and two sisters having preceded! ^ him in death. [On December 23, li12 he was united *in marriage to Haiei Perrin of Cherokee, and to this union were born live children, namely, Harry, Paul, Wil-mer, Harold, and Marvin all who are at home with their mother, except Harry, who is working near Galva.Mr. Anderson had spent his entire life in and around this community, having lived the past 21 years on the farm where he passed away. Those surviving in addition to his wife and children before mentioned are his aged mother, Mrs. Mathilda Anderson, living in Cherokee; three sisters, Mrs.C. A. Peterson of Diamond township, Mrs. Julius Johnson of Malaca, Minn., who was unable to attend the service, and Miss Alice Anderson of Cherokee, also one brother, Oscar of Cherokee, and many other relatives and friends who will greatly miss him from the family circle and from the community where he had long made his home.Funeral services were held in the Duven funeral home, Monday afternoon. Rev. W, O. Dailey, pastor of the church of Christ, in charge. Many beautiful flowers showed the respect and esteem in which he was held in the community.Burial was in the Oak Hill cemetery at Cherokee, Among relatives whocF
