Nelson Sparks, police rounded up22 suspicious persona in connection with the holdup a short time after the robbery occurred.Scores of downtown pedestrians witnessed the daring robbery. As Irene Grosjean, the cashier, and Leon Jackson, store delivery foreman, left the First Central Trust bank with the payroll, an auto bearing the bandits drove up.Three armed men jumped out, snatched the money from the cashier and foreman, and then fled with the loot.
