Mother Plant Of Emeryville Rum RaidedNAPA In a double raid direct re by prohibition agents, Federal operatives yesterday seized an alcohol cu(-ting plant at El Cerrito, and the $25,-000 “mother plant” of the Emeryville liquor ring on the O’Hara ranch hi Conn valley, Napa county. Five mer were arrested in the latter raid, and authorities are searching for a mar named “Lewis”, operator of the El Cerrito cutting plant, said by his wife to be an associate of Mike Gallo former “alcohol king” of Piedmont.The raid at Conn valley was one of the biggest ever staged in thi State. More than 50.000 gallons ol mash, 1000 gallons of alcohol, general supplies and equipment wert seized. At the cutting plant, 140 Liberty street, El Cerrito, wines, ale hols and liquors, labels and aging devices were seized.Follow Garage RaidThese two raids followed the ran on the Emeryville police garage Iasi Friday, when a liquor fleet was seized with 500-odd gallons of alco hoi, and seven men were arrested.Those arrested yesterday wen William Harris of Vallejo, Johi Rose and Manuel Nunes of Nam and Joseph Landucci and Franl Lewis of St. Helena.
