Frank O' Donnell was tried, Wed-nesday, on * charge of assault and bat-trey on Mrs. Cora Plews and was ac quitted. The woman swore that O' Donnell shook her. The man swore that he only Interfered as a peacemaker in a row between Mrs. Plews and Jack O’ Donnell. There wera no other wittnesses. A charee of assault | and battery made by the same woman against her bosband was pending lor trial yesterday.
