Some weeks ago The Times publishedthe particulars of a seduction case in I-'airfield, the victim being a 14 year old triri. Mary Anne Wall, and the seducer a married wan, Charles Stoessiger. Afew weeks ago the girl gave birtii to a child, but such rueaus had to be resorted to by the surgeons that the young life was sacrificed to save the mother. Since her confinement the mother has lain in a precarious condition and has sutTered agonies lrom which death relieved her Saturday last. To the lust ol this fiend Stoessiger two lives have now beCu sacrificed, and it is feared by the death of thegirl he may escape the punishment the law provides.
