a. wm hiiu iiitnuvn waAccording to police broken windows were discovered on the eastAllen Lane, Warminster early Mon- New Britain Township policeday morning by thieves who forced reported.Woman faces trial for stab deathBy MIKE DUNN Intelligencer WriterMarilyn Chase Chusid will stand trial on charges of murdering her father, but her lawyers are contending the defendant’s constitutional rights have been violated because the preliminary arraignment was closed to the public.District Justice Dorothy Pollock ordered that Ms. Chusid, 25, of Top of the Hill Apartments, Feaster-ville, stand trial on charges of criminal homicide after presiding at the defendant’s preliminary hearing in Feasterville.Ms. Chusid is suspected of stabbing to death her 70-year-old father, William Chusid, in their apartment.At the Friday hearing, defense lawyer Andrew Schneider from the Bucks County public defender's office, said Ms. Chusid’s rights were violated after she was arrested on April 14.During Ms. Chusid’s preliminaryarraignment before Mrs. Pollock on April 14, the doors were closed to the press and public. Schneider said. *T thought the star chamber ended some time ago. It was a blatant violation of her rights.Schneider then moved that the case be dismissed, but Mrs. Pollock replied, The arraignment was closed in her best interests. Miss Chusid frequently called out to dispute the testimony of prosecution witnesses. It has not been explained why Miss Chusid was released from the hospital or how she was committed.The victim was an original owner of a Levittown house on Pebble Lane in Falls Township. The house burned down last year and William Chusid and his wife Celia Chusid moved to the Top of the Hill Apartments.The Falls Township house was rebuilt and Chusid put it up for sale the Friday before he was stabbed to death.During the incident, Mrs. Chusid also was stabbed, according to police reports. At the preliminary hearing on Friday.
