Small, John Tuley, C. E. Osborn, Julius Hiltz, Fred E. Meyer, Ernest Deutseher, John Cheney, H. Sleman, Charles Schlaak, J. B. Bouchard and Henry Warkentin. Geister was fined by a* justice of the peace more than a month ago and took an appeal. In the trial the court room was crowded with witnesses and spectators. The state rested at 2 p. m. and the defense proceeded on a general denial, claiming that Geister did not sell the hoy liquor; that the bar room was closed, for the day was Sunday, and that If the bartender sold the liquor he did so against the proprietor’s command I not to sell on Sunday.FRIDAY.
