A great bank forgery (says the European Mail) has come to light; in Nottingham. A clerk in the employ of Messrs Hart, Pel lows, and Co., bankers, has absconded, and before doing bo he forged a letter of advice to the London agents of the bank containing an order to pay to bearer £G,dQ5. The forged order was presented on February 3, and the money paid in six notes of £1,000, one note of £100,10 notea of £10, and 21 of £5 each, £500 reward has been offered for inform a. tion which may lead to the discovery of the notes, and the numbers have been advertised. In addition to the forgery, £100 in gold hasbeen abstracted from the safe. i
