The inei- \ dent from which the trial arose nap u pened last July 6 when Burke, aeord- j ing to the evidence hoarded a Motion A ’rain, got into a war of words with Conductor Ernest and before he had alighted from the train at the request of the conductor had said enough abusive language to convict him with being guilty of provoke by the jury in yesterday's trial. One cent and costs were returned against Burke and the former Cedar I.ake man will learn that it costs quite a penny to talk ungentle-maniy to people who are not in the mood to stand for It.I
