Three Lads Confess to Incendiarism, Say They Set Fires in Jamaica Plain and Forest Hills. This morning in the Jamaica Plain court, Michael Clougherty, John Burns and Thomas Dolan, charged with set ting fires, were heard, and the case con tinued until tomorrow. The boys were arrested this morning and confessed to the setting of the fires to Capt Mc Bryn and officer Skillings of station 13 and state fire inspector James B. Dunn. The boys are all youngsters, Burns and Dolan being 16 years old, while Clougherty is only 4. Clougherty and Burns confessed that on last Saturday night they bought some kerosene oil and took it to the unoccupied two story dwelling house at 101 Call st. Ja maica Plain. The oil was sprinkled all around the house, and one of the young lads set fire to the house. The build ing was owned by Lawrence Norton. the boys also confessed that on Sun day at last all three of them went to the Forest Hills steam railroad sta they went to the 24-story frame dwell ing house on Forest Hilla st. near Sted man st, and sprinkled the hall about the house. Dolan and Clougherty they watched on the outside while young Burns set fire to the rubbish in side which was saturated with oil
