Two Shoots tired, But the Results areNot Known.William Patterson and Family, of Jackson Township, Indulge in aDomestic War.Tuesday's Dally.About three months ago William Patterson was united in marriage to a Mrs. Moore, of Franklin county, and they took up their abode in Jackson township, just across the river from Wawasa. Patterson has two sons by a former wife, and but little is known of his wife’s history, although it is said that she has once been in an insane asylum. At an early hour, this morning, persons livirg just across the river from the Pattersons, were disturbed by the sound of a pistol shot which seemed to come from the Patterson domicile. A few moments later Patterson rushed out of the house, yelling for help, and the last seen of him he was breaking for tall timber at a twenty knot clip. Very soon after the woman came out of the house, displaying »revolver, and was followed by Patterson’s seventeen-year-old son, with a shot gun. After ripping out an oath, the boy said “You eau’t shoot tny father,” and then he fired the shot gun at the woman. She disappeared in the woods in the same direction takea by the man.No one seems to know whether or not either of the shots took effect. At last accounts the boy was in possession of the bouse, and nothing wasknown as to the whereabouts of the man or woman.Affidavits will probably be made this evening or to morrow, and the matter will then be probed in the court.p
