COUPLE MURDERED, SON, 40, IS HELDPutnam Man Charged With Stabbing Parents Is Placed In Insane HospitalPUTNAM. April 24.—(AP) In a double stabbing that shocked this small textile manufacturing city, a couple were slain and their 40-year-old epileptic son admitted the murders. He was sent to a hospital for the insane.Police summoned to the home of Mr. and Mrs. David Beausoleil yesterday afternoon found Mr. Beausoleil lying dead on the kitchen floor. Mrs. Beausoleils’ body was on a couch in an adjoining room. Each had been stabbed with a bread knife.The Beausoleils. each 73 years old, had celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last week.Chief of Police Henry P. Mar-hurin said that Charles Beausoleil. one of the couple’s nine sons and daughters, screamed, I killed them—I killed them.” when investigators began questioning him at headquarters. *After being held for several hours, Beausoleil was taken to the Norwich State hospital on an emergency commftment.
