FILER AFFIDAVIT, HUSBAND SKIDDDEDMrs. Leonard Sutherland ofWest^ •*Washington, filed an--affidavit Sunday morning, against her husband* 'Leo narfL Sutherland charging him W4tB' assault and battery, but when ■the police went to look for him he had fled, and the last that was heard of him he was at Vincennes. Mrs. Southerland claims that she went to church at West Washington Sunday morning. Her husband, from whom she has been separated for some time met her as she was going home and she alleges, he hit her in the face, knocking her down. She came im-. media tel to the police station to tell her story and file charges, but in the meantime the husband had made good use of the time and had fled. The couple have been separated for some time. She has been living here and he has been working at Vincennes.
