WORSLEYWorsley, April 12.—A greai shock »vas felt by the communit} when the Worsley communityhall was burned to the groundThe Dancing Hill school districtresumes teaching in tne vacated house on Mrs. Shaw’s place, which affords suitable temporary teaching facilities. Miss Dunphv andpupils have already assembled necessary equipment and books for school work.The new Dancing Hill school is under construction with Eric Olsen in charge and local men assisting.The Horse Shoe Valley school has been resumed in H. Sparks’ building which is suitable forteaching until the new schoolwhich is now under constructionis completed.At the April meeting of the Women’s Pioneer Club, held at the home of Mrs. H. Tonnesen, apatch work quilt was started, to oe raffled and proceeds to go towards some community effort. Due to the loss of the hall by fire it was decided to discontinue the p:ano fund drive temporal ily and use a part of the money on handto purchasesome necessary equipment for the two schools starting anew.We are glad to hear Messrs.Scruggs and Hovis. who left their farms recently, have obtained work in the Turner Valley oil fields.
