Three horses belonifinjj to the Clhas. Lucas estate disappearelt;T mysteriously from the farm be-ng managed by A. J. Crim on the iiight of March 31st, and nothing has since been heard of them. It is supposed they were stolen and probably ferried across the river. It has beenlearned since by Mr. Crim that several horses belonging to different parties between here and Louisiana disappearedabout the same time, and it is probable that an organized gang of horse thieves have pas.sed this way.
