The explosions were heard'^e by residents in the vicinity, but no atten-he tion was paid to them as they were be-lle lieved to be the reports of revolvers byK. tramps. When Agent Eston Greene openedan the freight office this morning he found thesafe completely wrecked, though little to damage was done to the office.The buggy was stolen from John Hol-l,c* Mngsworth and a horse was taken from thebarn of Dr. J. P. (’ope. The rig was abau-'' doned at M**unt Jackson and. after beingheaded in the right direction, started“r toward home. The horse reached the homeof \V. B. Vestal, two miles east of town, about daylight There is no clew to the identity or whereabouts of the thieves.
