ObituariesMrs. Walter Partanen*BESSEMER - The funeral for Mrs. P. Walter Partanen, f9, N10341 Puritan Road, Bessemer, who died Thursday, will take place Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, with the Rev. Louis P. Bracket officiating.Frick-Zielinski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. There will be no visitation.The former Gertrude M. Thebert was born Sept. 13, 1914, at Puritan Location, daughter of the late Alfred and Lillian Thebert. She attended Bessemer Township and St. Sebastian schools and graduated in 1932 from A.D. Johnston High School. Bessemer.On June 25, 193B, she was married to Walter Partanen at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Ironwood. She was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church, its Ladies Guild, the Daughters of Isabella, and the St. Vincent DePaul Society.Mrs. Partanen was a former postmistress at the Purtain Location Post Office.Surviving are her husband; three sons, James and David, Bessemer, and Thomas, Bothell, Wash.; one daughter, Mrs. Wilbur (Barbara) Schade, Lansing; five grandchildren; two brothers, William, Bessemer, and Frederick, Seattle, Wash.; and one sister, Mrs. John (Helen) Mez-zano, West Branch.Pallbearers will be Peter Sr., Peter Jr. and William Montonati, Robert Fingeroos, Leo Carpenedo and Andrew Relich.
