3-Year TermColorado Man On Trial For Tampering With MailBoxElvis Wesley Newman, who was arrests! here several months ago by the Sheriff's department, on re-ouest of federal authorities, was assegped a three-year prison sen* tence by Judge James C. Wilson in United States district court at Abi-lene Monday. The charge against Newman was theft of government property from an emergency airplane landing field at Westbrook. He was charged with stealing gasoline.
