Winslow Police Capture Liquor And Its Maker Constable J. I. Walker and City, Marshal Charles Harp yesterday af ternoon succeded in locating a source of liquor supply in this city for which they have searched for the past two weeks, and Fred Luna was arrested as the result of a visit to his home just east of Colo rado avenue, where the officers found a half dozen one gallon jugs and a five-gallon keg of corn whis key. When brought to the city jail with the contraband, Luna told the officers that he had a partner in the bootlegging business, who was part owner of the liquor, but gave varied descriptions and names of his business associate, and could not locate him about the city. Today he will appear before ‘Po lice Judge R. M. Bruchman, to answer to a charge of possessing in toxicating liquor. He is being held in the city jail pending hearing. According to the officers, Luna has been in the tails of the law once before on a similar charge, being sentenced in the Superior court at Holbrook. The final location of the supply was the result of careful and in telligent work on the part of the local officers.
