The sheriff boarded the north bound train and started for Farmersburg, The name of Whhtaker was unknown at that j place and the sheriff got on the trainintending to go to Terre Haute.The Terre Haute Gazette says that at | Pimento a man got on the train and sheriff Mills after glancing at him im-n : mediatelv surmised that he was the man%* ___ir wanted. The surmise proved correct, 3~ the stranger acknowledging that his name was Whittaker. He was brought to this city and is now in jail. He will ° be delivered to the Decatur authorities.
