Robinson’s alleged accomplice, Ernest Benjamin Smith, is due to die next week in the electric chair. Robinson’s conviction was reversed because testimony about a lie detector test taken by George Holden, also accused of the crime, was allowed to be entered as evidence. (Related story. Page itC)
