EUREKA RIVER(By The Gazette’s Correspondent)Eureka River, April 9.—Waldo Anderson, of Rabbit Creek, has a-bout entirely recovered from his accident of some time ago, when the usual “unloaded” rifle went off. the bullet passing through lip and cheek, coming out under the left eye.Miss Mae Childs has resumed her duties at the Ednam schoolafter having spent a week with her parents at Worsley.There was a great deal of traffic on the road to Hines Creek last, week, as the farmers were getting their seed grain. Most of the farmers have their supplies and are now awaiting the break-up to get on the land. There will be a considerably larger acreage undergrain this year than in 1933. Anumber ai e sowing barley in the hope that it will ripen before the frost strikes.Several residents here saw the large meteor a couple of weeks ago. It showed up quite bright for a few moments.Fred Shlange has rented severa[ parcels of land and is going into farming quite extensively. He has already purchased five horses,, several cattle and an amount of ! farm machinery.
