Medina Marshal ShootsNight Watchman.Medina has been the scene of tense excitement since early Tuesday morning following the finding of the murdered body of John H. Gates, night watchman employed by the bits mess men of the city. Later m the day authorities found city marshal H. L. Blakeslee in a barn severely wounded, who claims he shot Gates in self defense, and then attempted suicide but the load made a glancing wound tearing away a part of his left side. A shotgun was used in both instances.The shooting is the climax of a political feud between Blakeslee and Gates which has existed since Blakeslee beat Gates m the race for town marshal at the last election.Sheriff Gehman has taken charge of Blakeslee, who was moved to a place where he can be given medical
