The estimated cost of the work is 115,000. As! ;wer-age committee, consisting of Messrs. HI well, Kearney and Bowen, was appointed. They are to act In conjunction with the City Engineer in making out a line of sewerage for the city. A large batch of petitions for renewal of coffee house and ale, beer and porter house licenses were presented, and the prayer of the petitioners granted.An ordinance was passed, providing that hereafter stalls in tbe Lower market house be rented by the month only, the intention being to remove the building at no distant day.The Comfnittee on Parks was Instructed to notify the friends of the persons burled in tbe old Craig street Cemetery to remove tbe same fay a certain date, to be fixed by the committee.Tbe German Republicans of this city meet to-night at Turner Hall to hear addresses from Joseph Hermes and E. C. Wilmot. The former will spehk in German.
