Monday, April 19.OLD BAILET.Thomas Parker, Sophia Gurton, Charles Geering',and Elizabeth Geering, were indidled for coining.Hugh Anderson said he was one of the city officers ; he with two other officers, went on the 13 th of March last, to a house in Brackley-street, Cripplegate, in consequence of information they had received, that there were Comers in the house. When the Witness and . the other officers came to the house, they found the Hall door open; they went up stairs to the Garret and knocked at the door; Elizabeth Geer-ing opened the door; the Witness and the other officers went in. At that moment, Parker threw a handful of counterfeit shillings and sixpences out of the window, and dropt some on the floor. Sophia Gurton put a Nutmeg-grater, in which were seven bad shillings, into her pocket. They found in the room all the apparatus for coining : while they were in the room, Charles Geering came up stairs : they immediately took him intocustody.The other officers gave the same evidence.aJohn Clarke was called, who proved that the implements found in the rootn were for rht purpose of coining.■ Thomas Parker and Sophia Gurton, Guilty— Charles Geering; and Elizabeth Geering, not Guilty.
