Wesley T. HerronGASTONIA - Wesley Taylor Herron, 60, 1001 Lakeview Apts., died April 16, 1992, in Bushneil,Fla.He was a native of Swain County and son of the late Johnny Mack Herron. He was the re-tired coowner of Haas Herron for more than 30 years and was a flight instructor and pilot He was formerly a Captain and wing commander for Civil Air Patrol for Gaston County and was a flight instructor working out of Carowings. He was a Marine Corps veteran.Survivors include a son, Timothy O’Keith Herron of Gastonia; three daughters, Judy Herron Russell and Tina Herron Parson of Gastonia and Connie Herron McDonald of Clover, S.C.; his mother, Bertha Elizabeth Bridges Herron of Bryson City; his former wife, Margo Clack Herron; four brothers, Lee and Dave Herron of Stanley, Albert Herron of Bryson City and Odell Herron of Gastonia; four sisters, Tennie Houser of Greensboro, Dallie Sanders of Franklin, Maxine Bradshaw of Drexel and Betty Lou Shepard of Rock Hill, S.C.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.The funeral will be conducted by the Rev. Carroll Henderson at 3 p.m. Monday at Carothers Funeral Home, Gastonia. Burial will be in Gaston Memorial Park.The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home and at other times at the home of Tim Herron, 2430 Camp Rotary Road, Gastonia.Herron
