Jaycee Regional MeetingTo Attract Nearly 260Danville Jaycecs expect near-] ly 130 Jaycees and their wives at the Region VII meeting scheduled tomorrow at the King of the Sea restaurant.Highlight of the Jayece conference will be the banquet beginning at 6:30 p.m. at which Del. W. C. (Dan) Daniel will be the featured speaker.Awards to regional winners in the Jaycee Spoke, Sparkplug and Speak-Up contests also will be made at the banquet.Region VII’s new vice-president will be installed at the banquet which will be followed by a dance from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.Registration for the regional meeting begins at 12:30 p.m. with competition in the several contests to begin at 1 p.m.A business session is set for 2 p.m. which includes the election of the new regional vice-president. Donald Layne, of theRinggold Jaycees, is the onl announced candidate for th post.Candidates for State Jayce president are expected to spea at the business session.
