PAGE SEVENVANDALS RAID NEW BUILDINGWalk Off With Supplies and Damage Walls, Police InformedMore vandalism in connection with the construction of homes in the city Monday was reported to police.Paint, varnish, linseed oil and a ladder, valued at about $45. were reported by H. F. Reveal to have been stolen from a new house at Nineteenth street and Noyes avenue. Kanawha City. Robert Watt, of 1119 ! Hickory avenue, complained that someone had entered a new home at 189 Jean street, on Burlew Heights, where they proceeded to paint the floors and to damage the papered walls, to the extent of about $25.Missing persons also continued to be reported to the city officers. W. L Cooper, of Marmet. reported that his niece. Edna Morris, and another girl. Nellie Sclbe. were missing from that place. Both girls are 14 years old, 5 feet tall, have brown hair and are slender, the report said. Later officers received a report that the girls were staying at Winifrede.Mrs. Preston Campbell, of Tad, reported that her husband went out to cut some stove wood near their home March 10 and hasn't been seen since. He is 63 years old and about 5 feet 4. she said.In municipal court Monday. Judge Cyrus W. Hall held Wirt Fields to the grand jury on a charge of re-1 ceiving goods stolen from the Bond-Rider-Jackson company warehouse, and sentenced D. F. Hood to serve 15 days in the county jail on a charge of shoplifting from Kresge's store, in Capitol street.
