Of the case of the negro who reoentlj murdered young Boswell, in Harris county, the Bun ftays:Coust—The Case or the Yotrjca Nr-coo MumKKEB.—Harris Court adjourned on yesterday, after a brief session. On the day before the case of the negro boy who killed a white boy some weeks since was called, CoL Jaau N. Ramsey and Hon. Hark H. Blandlord wen appointed by the Court to defend him. His counsel moved a change of venue, which motion was granted by the Court, the first case of the kind, we believe, in this State, and the bey was ordered to this place for trial. This crested some excitement among the people of Harris, and it was feared that the boy might be forcibly taken and hung by the friends and sympathizers of the family of the murdered write bov. Better and more prudent counsels prevailed, however, and late yesterday after-upon the negro waa plaoed in jail, and in cos-.tody of the Sheriff of this ootmty. We refer to the fact as evidence that our people, though greatly slandered and provoked, are law abldr ing and peaceful.
