Local Chamberfor Moore to call FBIThe Morgantown Area Chamberof Commerce Board of Directors yesterday unanimously voted a motion requesting Governor Moore to ask U.S. Attorney General John Mitchell for “full participation of the Federal Bureau of Investigation” in seeking to solve the attempted assassination of Prosecuting Attorney Joseph A. Laurita Jr. and the decapitation murders of WVU coeds Mared Malarik and Karen Ferrell.The motion was made and passed following a discussion of the talk on organized crime by Martin Danziger, chief of the organized crimes division of the federal Law Enforcement Assistance Administration of the Department of Justice. Danziger was the principal speaker of the 50thanniversary banquet of the Chamber last week.Joel M. Hannah, managing, director of the Chamber, wrote this letter to Governor Moore:“Dear Governor Moore:“The Morgantown Area Chamber of Commerce at its regular Board meeting Friday expressed alarm over the recent tragic incidents that have happened in our area.inThe Board unanimously passed the following motion:“That Governor Arch A.
