HELD AT POLK CITYSHELDAHL — Funeral services for Elmer Koch, 39, who was instantly killed In an automobile accident near Crocker last Friday, were held at the Congregational church in Polk City Monday afternoon by the Rev. F. W. Berggren.A woman’s quartet sang Jesus rnderstands’’ and The Light of the Way and Mrs. Clara Houatad of Boone and Mrs. Berggren sang Only Glory By and By. Interment was Id the Kadcliffe eeme-tery.Mr. Koch v as killed w hen he was pinned beneath his oil truck which overturned after colliding with the car driven by Clayton Lande, formerly of Slater.He is survived by his wife, who will be remembered as the former Miss Helen Skeie of Radcliffe two daughters. Kathryn and Irma, and one son. David. Mr. Koch, an overseas World war veteran, had been operating an oil station in Polk City for a number of years.
