An iuquest, however, developed that the body was the same that had been previously discovered and which had been buried on the shore. Hogs had rooted into the grave, pulled the body rut, eaten of the flesh, and again the waters seized it. Again the remains were interred on the bank, aud the grave was covered by a huge pile of stones to prevent further desecration. There they repose to this day.Was there a crime? Many of the residents of Springfield-st., on which the church was located, attended and became converted. From this revival springs a story, by which the Indianapolis and Cincinnati Sunday papers sought 13 connect a West Indianapolis couple with the Cincinnati crime. For the purpose of furnishing a basis for the interviews thatfollow^ Tiie Sen gives the story inbrief, as told by the other papers: Among those who attended the re-vival services was Mrs. Albert Cox, who boards, with her husband, at 82 Springfleld-st., in the house of John A. Earrett.
