FATHER SHOOTS SONOCOEE (AP)—An Ocoee man pumped six bullets into his 23-year old son early today after the youth forced his way into his father’s home, the Orange County Sheriff’s Department said.Dead was Charles Henry Strickland of Winter Gar den.Charged with first degree murder was his father, George Lewis Strickland, 47.Sadlier said the younger Strickland came to his lather’s home about 1 A. M. and his 20-year old sister would not let him enter the home. She opened the door slightly and Strickland forced his way in, Sadlier said.The sister, Mrs. Judy Ann Brown, grabbed a base ball bat, which young Strickland snatched away, Sadlier said. The father, awakened by the fight, entered the living room with a .25 caliber revolver and fired at his son. Investigators said.The younger Strickland was under the influence of alcohol, Sadlier said.
