Everything from athletic awards to a spring concert were part of i the Martinsville Home and SchoolLeague meeting Monday night.The program started with awards presented by the basketball coaches and ended with a physical education department tumbling exhibition led by one of the students. Jack Farquer.The concert included the high school band, elementary choir, junior high chorus and a mixed chorus that had two solo selections by Bonnie Brown and Jerry Ames. Pianists were Dixie Brown, Ann Kelly and Jane Brewer.Vocal director was Mrs. Horace Townsend and instrumental director was Mrs. Robert Hendee. Music awards were presented.
