%Grover Elam, who has given Sac county officials much trouble in recent years, was sentenced to serve five years • in the penitentiary at Fort Madison last week when he plead guilty to the charge of stealing a set of harness from his brother, Norman Elam. Grover Elam and a companion went to Cambridge, Iowa, where they arranged to sell a harness for $50 and they then returned to Sac City and took the harness from his brother but sold it for $45. Elam will also have the charge of having illegal possession of liquor and driving a car under a fictitious number filed against him.
