Detectives Shannon and Wilson Takein a Sneak Thief.A good piece of work was clone yesterday by Detectives Shannon and Wilson Jn the arrest of a man giving the name of lt;X W. Spalnhower. The officers saw Spalnhower entering a Commercial street pawnshop with a bundle under his arm. Th© man was acting in a very queer manner and the offlcera took him to the police station and questioned him. The bundle was found to contain a suit of clothes which the mqn claimed to have purchased in Chicago last fall.While .the officers were still questioning the man a 'phone message was received from J. H. Messenger, who rooms in the Realty block on West Temple, that his room had been entered and a suit of clothes stolen. Messenger called at the station a little later and Identified the suit as his property. Spainhower was locked up in the City JalL
