—During a dispute at Pear’s Station, nearWhitehall, 111., between Robert McEvers and William and Howard Garrison, cousins, over a calf owned by McEvers, the Jatter was stabbed five times by Howard Garrison and instantly killed. This is the second murder in the place within a month. The murderer, who is the son of Dr. Garrison, a prominent physician, is in custody of the sheriff at Pittsfield.
