Indiana Kegtilatovs Invades 3fow Albany ami Punish Three IVlen.New Albany, LitL, April 16.—!The White Caps, or Regulators, of this section otr the State have become unusually daring. Last Friday night,a band of fifty-seven of these nicm rode into the suburbs.of this place, a city of twenty-five thousand inhabitants, took from their bed three stalwart men, the sous of a widow named Jones, tied tliem to trees and gave them severe whippings with switches and sticks. After the whipping the men were told that if they did not go to work and earn a living they would receive more of the sume punishment. Mrs. Jones,the mother, takes in washing to support herself and grown sous. The White Caps then visited the house of William IVright and warned him under pairi of death to get out of Harrison county. What Wright has done is not known, as ho is apparently a law abiding citizen.
