She wore a large white lace hat and carried a bouquet of pink carnations and rosea. The matron of honor, Mrs. Ruby Cornwell, of Rose drive, wore powder blue georgette with corncolor lace straw hat and carried a bouquet of pink and yellow eweet peas. Gilbert Hemmer, the groom’e brother was best man and Howard Cornwell was usher.
