Owen Lynch, of Malvern and who is enrolled on the “flag’* list of Chester County, reached his limit of enduring the arid atmosphere of his home town on Saturday and came to this borough to have hla thirst quenched. Owen bought two pint bottles of whisky for fifty cents and after consuming one-half of one bottle began a tour of the streets. The burgess met him and inquired his business. Tho whisky had started Owen dreaming and he told the burgeas that he wa6 from Australia and wanted a plate of soup. The burgess called an Officer and had Owen taken to the station house.On Sunday morning after Owen had recovered from hla lag he said that he could not get a drink in his home town and that he oould not buy a bottle of whisky in Chester county. He came here and made his purchase and intended to go directly borne but he could not withstand the temptation of sampling |he whisky with the result that he got drunk. He admitted having been in Norths town Jail four times and in West Chester Jail once on account of hia intemperate habits. The burgesa oommltted him to the county jail for Aft eon days.
