BOY MAY DIEAs a Result of Trying to Stop a Fight.While Separating Two Little Boys, Who Were Fighting, a South Washington Lad Was Stabbed.Tuesday’s Daily.Joe Allen, the twelve year old South Washington boy who was stabbed through the left lung Sunday morning by Roj’ May, aged 11, is thought to be some better today, although the attending physician, Dr. J. W. Clark, still has grave doubts about the boyrecovering.On Mouday the boy spit up blood throughout the day, and Monday night he suffered great pain about bis heart. He has slight fever today.From what can be learned concerning the stabbing it appears that Joe Allen had a knife thrust into his little body while acting as peacemaker. Willie and Hem-.hel May, schoolboys eightyears old, first got into a fight in, a ((woods south of South Washington. They were with their brothers. T,ie j elder Allen boy^, Joe, and the oldest ] May boy, Claud, tried to separate the ] boys and while they were doing this ^ Roy May, eleven years old, is alleged have run in and stabbed Joe Allen h his pocket knife.
