Butte man pleads innocent to theftsAn Butte man pleaded innocent in district court Wednesday to a felony burglary charge stemming from five separate breakins of Mining City businesses.Robert Kittson, 18, no address listed, remained in jail in lieu of bond after he was arraigned before Judge James Freebourn.Kittson allegedly was involved in burglaries Nov. 11 at the Day Nite Market. 21 N. Main; Montana Leather Co , 124 S. Main, and Town Talk Bakery. 611 E. Front; and Jan. 26 at Paumie Cleaners, 60 W. Galena, and Scandia Bar, 537 S. Main.Items listed in the complaint as stolen during the burglaries included $500 cash from the Day Nite Market and $200 from a safe at Montana Leather Co.address listed, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor disorderlyconduct and was fined $100 by Justice of the Peace Georgia Moran.The county attorney s office reduced the charge from obstructing justice, also a misdemeanor.Shurtl'iff transported and harbored his son for about a week during March while the boy was a fugitive from the state youth correctional facility at Miles City.JAMES DEMPSEY JR.. 43, of Dillon pleaded guilty in justice court to misdemeanor theft and was fined $150 by Justice of the Peace J. J.
