Bicycle Tests G en At Public Schools In Safety CampaignThe first phase in the Lubbock i Bicycle club’s campaign to promote safety among bicycle riders in the city was completed Tuesday ■evening.Approximately 1.5G5 boys and girls in lhc public schools had completed safety lane tests on Monday and Tuesday, and many or ;hese students had completed inspections of their bicycles and received their Bicycle club membership cards. ■Acting under arrangements I made by J. W. Reed of the Public Schools safety department,, bicycle safety lanes were set up and conducted at the various schools. Tests were conducted ft I six schools Monday and at seven schools on Tuesday.Tests and inspections were conducted by Sgt, Harold Mclnroe, Sergeant J. T. Alley, Patrolman George Wilkes and Patrolman Tom Ever heart of the Lubbock ■ Police department, Slat'' High-; way patdblmcn John McVcan and Sam Fort, and approximately 120 Boy Scouts of troops 2, 3, 5. fi, 7, 8, 9, 10, 19, 96, 100, 103 and Exp.
