BLACK CAT FINDS WAY TO BREAK THROUGH PADLOCKaIt remained for one black cat to find the only way to get in and out of a soft drink parlor padlocked under the provisions of the Volstead act by a United States marshal, and that feline lives in La Crosse.One day after United States Marshal J. H. Harris padlocked the saloon at 120 South Second street a black cat was seen \es-terday^ walking back and forth in the window of the place sealed by the federal court.Late in the afternoon the cat disappeared from the window and a few minutes after walked Into the Vlroqua store next door stretched itself and calmly curled up on the floor as if nothing had happened. Workers in the store fed the cat and then went out *nd looked over the saloon' next door to ascertain how the feline got out of the padlocked place. No opening could be found.During the evening the cat again disappeared, and this morning was found once more walking back and forth in the window of the padlocked place.
