e asTAKEN IN RAIDOne of the city’s “wet” spots was raided Friday night about 10 o’clock when a delegation of officers headed by Sheriff Burney Maxwell swooped down upon the home of Mrs. Ethel Walker, on Freeman street.With the sheriff were Deputy Sheriff Freeman Lane, Constable Charles Maim and Policeman William Clark. A half gallon of liquor and a number of bottles of home brew were found. A search warrant for the raid was obtained in Justice Q. E. Bornholt’s court.Mrs. Walker was arraigned In Justice Bornholt's court and entered a plea of guilty. She was bound over to Judge Grant Crum-packer’s Porter circuit court and disposition of her case will probably be made this afternoon.
