Alleged Killer Of Girl Lodged In Centre JailBELLEFONTE — George Allen Keith, Morrisdale R.D., charged with the March 12 murder of 12-year-old Tracy Stetler of Philipsburg, today is in Centre County Jail here awaiting a preliminary hearing set for 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 17.Mr. Keith, 27, waived extradition from El Paso, Texas, and was returned to Centre County Tuesday by Centre County Sheriff Richard V. Waite, accompanied by two state policemen.After his arrival he was taken to Philipsburg Wednesday and arraigned on the murder charge before District Magistrate E. W. Russell. He was committed to jail to await a preliminary hearing. Bail was not set.Sheriff Waite and the two state policemen left Sunday for El Paso to return Keith to Centre County. He was being held there on a federal warrant charging him with unlawful flight from justice.After tthe murder warrant was delivered, the federal charge was dropped. To expedite matters, Keith then waived extradition and local authorities went to Texas to return him to Centre County.Keith was arrested in Mexico and deported as an undesirable visitor to Texas. He was detained in Texas until legal paperwork prior to his return was completed.
