Caretaker Collects $345 And Disappears As Five Claim FlatDETROIT. Mich.—(TP)—Apartment caretaker Charles Brown collected $345 from live different room seekers as advance rent for one apartment. Then Brown disappeared.The deception was discovered when Mrs Vinnie Carter, 38, showed up to claim the apartment Mrs. Gladys Kinshella, 28, already had moved in. While they were arguing, Carl Teague, 34,and Kenneth Clarkson, 36. botharrived.And finally. Brock Root. 24, t)ie ' fifth victim, showed up. He, Clarkson, Teague and Mrs. Carter I all had paid $70 each. Mrs. Kin- j sheila was out $65. But she has the apartment.Police issued a warrant for Brown's arrest when they catch up with him.
