Windsor House FireOld Huron Land Mark ThreatenedWith Destruction.Friday evening at about 8’oclock fire was discovered in the Windsor house and the alarm soon brought the fire department on the ground, and bringing the chemical to play soon had the fire within easv control. The water was also turned on and in a short time the fire was ex- jtinguished.The fire originated in the living room of the proprietor, just how no one knows. Fortunately it was discovered in its early stages and it was extinguished with but little damage to the property which was fully insured. The house was pretty well smoked.The Windsor house is one of the old land marks of Huron and at one time was one of the famous hostlerics of the state. It was owned bv B. F. Tillottson and lo-cated where the First National bank now is. Many of the old timers have had many a good meal at the old Windsor.
